The new and innovative WaveReef K6-SKIM  in-sump protein skimmer supplies powerful filtration for aquariums. The WaveReef K6-SKIM is constructed of high-quality cast acrylic and PVC that disassembles completely for cleaning. Its unique wine glass body naturally stabilizes and concentrates the organic rich foam as it rises. Equipped with a controllable WaveReef controllable DCAIR-1.0 pinwheel pump with integrated memory controller and optical sensor to avoid overflowing.  A quick-release collection cup and skimmer body for easy cleaning, a collection cup drain to reduce maintenance frequency, and lastly, a compact footprint that allows easy installation, including a new gear-driven outlet control adjustment that provides precise control, and an underwater outflow for quiet operation.
